Elegant sextant in lattice frame carried out in brass and copper.
The sextant has been fitted with a lot of attachments:
four colored sun glasses, three horizon glasses, three telescopes,
propeller turner, adjusting tenon and eye cap.
Scale of 0 up to 120 degrees, with magnifying glass and vernier to 10 seconds.
Scale partitioning and sliding gauge of platinum.
Made and signed by William Youle Leadenhall Street London,
worked at this address from 1845 - 1866.
Nice mahogany-wooden quarter circle crate with key.
