2 BOXED U.D.F. 7 X 50 BLC U- BOAT SIGHT FOR TORPEDO FIRING. U-190

These legendary and charismatic binoculars were used on German U-boats.
They were mounted on a permanent metal stand at the front of the conning tower.
The UDF 7x50 binoculars were part of the U.Z.O. (Uberwasser - Ziel – Optik).
The binoculars were used during the launching of torpedoes at surface level.

This is a complete set in its original metal box, consisting of two pairs of binoculars with aiming sights and rain hoods.
The metal box has a wooden compartment layout in order to safely transport and store the binoculars with the rain hoods.
The set is wholly original and complete, and comes with the Carl Zeiss blc stamp with eagle,
a photographic overview and a signed receipt from German High Command.
*This set is extremely rare, only four complete sets with box are known to exist in the whole world.
