RESCUE BAND U-BOAT 143 IMPERIAL NAVY 1917 – 1918

A nice historical remnant from the time of the German Imperial navy,
a unique piece of submarine memorabilia.
The original rescue band from German submarine U-143.
In its full original state: horseshoe-shaped from cork and canvas
and leather-coated with painted-on digits, also the grab rope is original.
The rescue band was hanging on the conning tower in a strap.
