Fluwa:
The primary purpose of the fluwa watch was to find aircraft that flew under the radar and to make air observations by means of a searchlight.
The search was done visually, by ear or with a sound locator.
The personnel were mostly technically trained and reported all flight movements to the central unit: the number of aircraft, the time of the observation, sector nr, aircraft type, or in poor visibility the number of engines and or wing shape.
A rare and special pair of binoculars for maritime air defense.
